2. Description of Services

2.1 Platform Overview

dataface.ai provides a real-time data analytics platform that enables you to:

Connect to multiple data sources across clusters and diverse systems
Execute queries and analytics across connected data sources
Visualize and analyze data in real-time
Converse with your data using natural language interfaces
Generate insights and reports
Collaborate with team members on data analysis

Minimal Data Movement Architecture

Our platform operates on a minimal data movement principle. Queries are executed directly on your data sources when possible, with Change Data Capture (CDC) technology tracking data changes. Apache Spark and Apache Flink are used for real-time processing jobs on distributed clusters.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To use our Services, you must:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain and update your information
Choose a strong password and keep it confidential
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Important: We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with security obligations.

4. Data and Intellectual Property

4.1 You Own Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to your data
Your data includes content, files, and information you connect
We do not claim ownership of your data

4.2 License to Use Your Data

You grant us a limited license to:

Access and process your data to provide the Services
Execute queries on your connected data sources
Cache query results for performance optimization
Use metadata for service improvement and analytics

This license exists only for the duration of your use and terminates when you delete your data or close your account.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use our Services to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the Services
Introduce viruses, malware, or malicious code
Access data you are not authorized to access
Conduct cryptocurrency mining using our infrastructure
Resell or redistribute the Services without authorization

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. DATAFACE.AI EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amounts paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

Limitations do not apply to breaches of intellectual property rights, acceptable use policy, or gross negligence.

10. Term and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at our sole discretion, without notice and liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
